Back in February, we saw most likely the best pair of sneakers to release for the year of 2013 in the Air Jordan 3 Retro '88 "White Cement", the first time Jordan Brand rocked the Nike Air look on their sneakers since over a decade ago.
Since White Cement release, many were hoping Jordan Brand would apply this to other Air Jordan 3 models, most notably ones like the "Black Cement" and the "True Blue" colorways.
For the past few months, images have popped up over a possible Retro '88 "Black Cement" release, as a pair of those appeared on an ESPN special celebrating Michael Jordan's 50th birthday.
Now, it looks like we may be seeing a release.
In the image above, provided by 23 Premium Kicks on Instagram, it looks like the Air Jordan 3 Retro 88 "Black Cement" will in fact be releasing this year. It has been confirmed for a release, which is sometime later in the year.
Stay tuned for more details.
