This is one of the many reasons why the Indiana Hoosiers will never prosper in college football. For the Hoosiers, it's always about basketball. We'll let Notre Dame and the Indianapolis Colts be the good football teams in Indiana, I guess.

It was shown in Saturday's game versus the Minnesota Golden Gophers, as the Hoosiers had an epic fail on a screen pass with about 20 seconds remaining in the game. Watch above as quarterback Tre Roberson just executes this play terribly, which leads to a fumble and Minnesota clinching the game in a 42-39 win.

The sad part was that the Hoosiers could have easily scored and won the game, considering that they were already in the red zone. At the very least, they were on their way to forcing overtime ... but then this happened.

Oh, Indiana football, is there any hope for you?
