hi-res-8070988_crop_northThe Kansas City Chiefs, at one point, had a 38-10 lead on the Indianapolis Colts in their Wild Card round matchup with them on Saturday. But from there, things fell apart as the Chiefs ended up getting outscored, 35-6, to lose the game in an astonishing defeat to Andrew Luck's Colts.

With the loss, the Chiefs have yet to win a playoff game since the last eight times they made it to the postseason. The last time they won a playoff game was when Joe Montana was their quarterback.

As for the current core of Chiefs players, they were all but crushed.

"I sat there and talked to them this morning and there were a lot of long faces," Chiefs head coach Andy Reid told ESPN. "They had their hearts ripped out. I can work with that.

"They should hurt. That'll make us better."

Towards end of the game, Kansas City made a lot of fixable mistakes, with the main one being time management, where a lot of unnecessary timeouts were called in the second half.

We'll see if the Chiefs can prevent this mistake from ever happening again in the future.
