2014 NFL Draft prospects and former football players for South Carolina, Victor Hampton and Kelcy Quarles, have been questioned for a beatdown of a man at a New York City nightclub on Friday night, according to the New York Daily News.
Club promoter Michael Harvey was attacked at the Greenhouse nightclub. Per the Daily News, he was attacked so badly that had to go to the hospital to receive extensive repair on his face. It was the result of the 28-year-old receiving a severe beating via punches.
Right now, investigators are just looking at Hampton and Quarles as potential witnesses for now. That's it.
Both men are 22 years old and are expected to be second- or third-rounders in May's NFL Draft. They were in the area on Friday for a draft-related photo shoot with ESPN.
