There have been several athletes in the past that have been curved when sliding into the DMs on Twitter. The latest was Dallas Mavericks small forward Chandler Parsons, who tried sliding into @MariahCorpus's DMs.
Here's how it went:
The tweet got a lot of fame, and Parsons became a bit of a joke on Twitter. However, he fired back with a comment of his own.
The girl replied with this:
Philadelphia 76ers rookie Joel Embiid came in for Parsons' defense, as he has dealt with issues when sliding into DMs on Twitter before as well.
As for the girl, she seems pretty annoyed now.
I guess you can't blame Parsons for going after the girl, though. I mean, she does look like this after all:
I'm just surprised Parsons of all people got curved. Parsons is regarded as one of the more attractive dudes in the NBA, but now he's ended up with no girl and everybody knowing his phone number now.
Keep doing you, Chandler. I'm sure you won't get curved every time in the Twitter DMs. However, let this be a lesson for any other NBA player when they're on the Twitter direct messages: think before you slide.
