Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson has himself in some hot water right now.
Peterson has been under fire after photos released of the damage he did to his 11-year-old soon after giving him a "whooping." Cuts and bruises can be seen on the child after Peterson allegedly hit his son with a tree branch.
Peterson could face up to two years in jail if he is found guilty of child abuse, according to Global Grind.
Adrian could very well serve up to 2 years in prison if he is found guilty of the child abuse charges.
The NY Daily News reports that barring a plea deal, the footballer’s trial will most likely begin early next year, but so far a date hasn’t been set.
