New York Giants cornerback Prince Amukamara has been shedding his "bust" label this season with some solid play. The 2011 first-round pick hasn't lived up to expectations until this season, so what's with the sudden growth?
According to Giants teammate and defensive back Antrel Rolle, it's because the 25-year-old is finally getting laid.
Per Deadspin, Amukamara is a devout Christian and wouldn't lose his virginity until he got married. Now recently getting married this year, he's finally able to have sex, in which Rolle believes has helped Prince's play on the field.
"There are a lot of things different about Prince. For one, he's married, so he's (enjoying some things that he wasn't experiencing before he's married). For a man, that could definitely help him out. For a man ... I'm just being honest ... it's helping him out. He walks around with a little more swagger, which is something that we need, which is something that we love," Rolle said, via NJ.com.
"I think it all ties into one another, as far as him getting married, being able to [have sex]. He's just developing more as a man and accepting challenges and being the dominant player that we need him to be that we know he's capable of."
Rolle's exact words for that first parenthetical, via Deadspin, was that Prince was "getting some cutty now."
