That title is just hilarious.
Apparently, the act of this Cleveland Cavaliers employee pouring Gatorade into a Powerade bottle was a bigger deal than we thought. And it doesn't have as much as to do with LeBron James either.
James is sponsored by Powerade, so we initially though this employee was pouring the rival Gatorade drink into James' bottle. However, this is now an issue for Cleveland as a franchise since they are sponsored by Gatorade.
According to TMZ, they are investigating this issue:
The Cavs — who have a sponsorship deal with Gatorade — tell us they’re investigating why their official drink was poured into a competitor’s bottle.
“We are looking into why the Powerade bottles were used. We’re trying to figure out what happened.”
The team made sure to clarify that the incident did not occur on their bench — however it was a Cavs employee who made the switch.
So what the hell happened? “That’s what we’re trying to figure out.”
We'll see if the kid gets fired or not.
