Well, isn't that frightening?
For Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills star pass rusher Mario Williams wore these demonic red contacts.
According to USA Today, the contacts were used for some type of visual benefit. Apparently, you can see the football better and have increased focus. And, of course, possibly scare the hell out of opposing players.
I'm sure Alex Smith wasn't too pleased looking at this on the other side of the field:
