Robert Griffn III Throw November 2014

Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III is now back, and the fans are probably more relieved than ever and probably asking for his forgiveness.

Right when RG3 got injured in Week 2 of the 2014 NFL season, the talk was of Kirk Cousins being the next franchise QB for this team. Obviously that didn't pan out, as Cousins got worse and worse as the weeks went by. It was at the point that Colt McCoy was looking like a god compared to him.

As Griffin sipped his tea like Kermit watching how bad the Redskins were without him, he also studied and learned from the greats of the game. During his time off, he watched how Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees and others carried themselves.

From ESPN:

Griffin acknowledged he’ll have to battle nerves Sunday, though he said that’s not unusual. What he’s excited about is putting into practice what he learned while sitting out.

He also said he watched more film — twice as much as he normally would — during his hiatus, especially early on when he was limited physically. He focused on quarterbacks such as Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers and Peyton Manning.

“My eyes were a little red and my wife was wondering what I was doing,” he said. “But you’re always working hard.”
