San Antonio Spurs small forward Kawhi Leonard has reportedly been battling conjunctivitis throughout the preseason, and it appears his vision still hasn't fully returned to normal.

According to ESPN, he is still experiencing blurred vision in his right eye.

"My right eye, the vision's not all the way back yet," Leonard said. "Hopefully I can heal up soon. I've just got to keep competing so I can get used to it and get my rhythm going."

Leonard will play through the condition.

"I have to. That's what I'm doing now. I can't wait and sit on the sidelines anymore just wasting games. It might not ever clear up until summer, so I'm playing now."

Leonard says the doctors told him to let the ailment run its course.

"[Team eye specialist Dr. Ed Rashid] said there were some military guys who had it for weeks and some for months," he said.

The 23-year-old Leonard, who won the NBA Finals MVP last June, is currently averaging 9.5 points and eight rebounds per game so far this season.
