Derek Fisher Knicks February 2015

The New York Knicks got embarrassed on Sunday against the Cleveland Cavaliers, losing 101-83 at home in Madison Square Garden. It was a game where JR Smith and Iman Shumpert had "revenge" on their former team.

With Carmelo Anthony out, Amar'e Stoudemire traded, players struggling with the triangle offense and a bunch of no-name guys on the roster, it's not surprising why New York lost the way they did.

Phil Jackson was not cool with it, though. He wrote these two controversial posts to Twitter following the loss:

Head coach Derek Fisher was asked about Jackson's tweets, saying he had no interpretation of them. However, he did say that the Knicks "are trying and giving effort."

"I'm not really taking those as specific to any particular player, players, persons. Phil is the president of the team. He has his opinions. When you guys see him, you can, I guess, talk to him or ask him exactly what they mean. From my standpoint, I think our guys are trying and giving effort. But it's a hard game. And we've been through a lot. It's been a tough year."
