"The mid is still sellin'" became a popular meme throughout the Twitter world this past year after a reporter asked Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch that, who replied with, "I'm thankful."
"Mid" refers to mid-grade marijuana, so that's how this whole fiasco has started, and now people are catching on to the phrase.
Mike Greenburg of ESPN's "Mike and Mike" obviously has no idea what it means, and randomly decided to say that while guests Michael Smith and Jemele Hill were on.
Smith and Hill laughed hysterically and were in shock when Greenberg decided to say that on air:
