Why use words, when emojis can be even better in trying to explain the dire need to land DeAndre Jordan?

Brad Turner of the Los Angeles Times reported last week that Jordan had agreed to a four-year, $80 million deal with the Mavericks. ESPN's Marc Stein reported today that Jordan is now wavering on his committment.

An emoji battle broke out between the Dallas Mavericks and the Los Angeles Clippers players on Wednesday afternoon, as the two teams battled to try to convince free agent center DeAndre Jordan to sign with them.


That led to this response from Los Angeles guard J.J. Redick:


"JJ Redick lives in Austin, Texas and, as his twitter (@JJRedick) indicates, he's been mobilized to drive to Houston to join Rivers' group," Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski then wrote.
