Where was Roc Nation when Dez Bryant needed them as a rookie?

It isn’t breaking news that the Dallas Cowboys star had money issues in the past, and some of that can be attributed to trusting people he shouldn’t have trusted.

Now that he is with Roc Nation, that seems to have cleared up a lot of his issues. Also, his new deal with the Cowboys has cleared a lot of his debt.

However he still wants his $60,000, according The Jasmine Brand.

Bryant filed legal docs in Dallas County Court against Damien Butler and his company G3 Sports Marketing and Representation aka Giving God the Glory, which claims to have expertise in the areas of endorsement opportunities and marketing for sports stars.

The legal docs explain that Bryant believes over 60k was paid to Butler and his company that was suppose to go to him. He explains that the money was either paid to Butler or a third party and he has attempted to find out by sending legal letters for the financial documents related to money he was to be paid but nobody has turned over anything.

He says that a depo will allow him to figure out who to slap with a lawsuit over the unpaid $60K.

Young athletes always need to pay attention to what they are signing and who is getting the money, so they don’t end up in these type of situations.
