I mean what else is he supposed to say, because when healthy he’s one of the best point guards on the planet.  Derrick Rose got in a little light work on opening night, scoring 18 points rusty buckets as the Chicago Bulls beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 97-95 at home.

Rose shot just 8-of-22 from the floor, suffering from double vision while wearing that plastic mask he was given protect his fractured orbital.

A reporter made the mistake of insinuating to Rose that Matthew Dellavedova was actually giving him some problems. Rose, like ever other elite point guard in the NBA, had no interest in hearing that, and honestly felt insult by the thought.

“To tell you the truth I’m not into that matchup, man,” Rose said. “That’s just someone that, I don’t know. He’s a great hard player, but I don’t know what else I can say about him. I’m not into that matchup. It’s no matchup.”

When asked if Rose went hard at Delly because of previous matchup.

“That may be the case, but it’s no matchup there at all,” Rose said with a smile. “He’s a great player, though.”

How dare you insult the self-proclaimed “Great One?”
