Both injuries sound painful, with the latter sounding like a brutal injury to have.
During Thursday night’s Bruins-Avalanche hockey game, NESN reporter Sarah Davis was delivering a rinkside report on the return of Bruins defenseman Dennis Seidenberg, who was returning to the lineup after having surgery to repair a herniated disc.
In a scene that I’m sure happens all the time, Davis tried to say herniated disk but something else slipped out:
Kudos to Davis, who kept on reporting.
