The man formerly known as Ron Artest really believes that his Queens Bridge upbringing makes him an official MC. How else can you explain Metta World Peace dropping another rap single, this time paying homage to The Black Mamba?

The Los Angeles Lakers forward says he loves to rap about basketball, so he decided to spit a rhyme about one of the greatest to ever do it.

After hearing a crazy beat, World Peace titled a song called “2K Kobe,” and felt he had to pay homage to Bryant’s legendary last game on April 13, 2016 when he finished with 60 points in 50 shots.

It’s not the greatest 16 you’ll ever hear, but he’s rapping about Kobe, so cut him some slack.
