Here’s hoping Tony Romo gets the opportunity to get a few buckets as well. Mark Cuban knows how to market his team, so what better way to bring out the Dallas fans than by having a recently retired Cowboys legend.

A huge basketball fan, Romo will suit up for the Dallas Mavericks in their season finale, according to Marc Stein of ESPN.com. According to Stein, Romo will be a “Maverick for a day” and sit on the bench in the team’s uniform.

Stein reports that when Cuban said over the past week that the club would be looking to add “a pass-first point guard” before playing out the season’s final five days, he was referring to the Cowboys all-time leading passer.

Kudos to Cuban.
