Mark Cuban has been enamored with DeMarcus Cousins for a long time, but NBA insiders are reporting that the Mavericks finally believe they can land the talented big man.
The Dallas Mavericks have been rumored to covet Mo Bamba with the No. 5 selection in Thursday night’s draft, but the team also believes it has a strong chance of signing Cousins this summer, reports The Athletic’s Michael Scotto.
Cousins, a four-time All-Star, is recovering from a ruptured Achilles tendon, while Bamba has been linked to the Mavericks with the fifth overall pick. Bamba also went to Texas at Austin.
