Kevin-Durant-Thunder-2013
There's always discussion from many NBA fans of comparing today's superstars to the ones of the past. We all compare guys like Kobe Bryant and LeBron James to the likes of Michael Jordan, or seeing how Dwight Howard stacks up with Shaquille O'Neal and Hakeem Olajuwon.

Mostly, a lot of these fans favor the players of the past, but many realize the game is different today. The players are different today. I don't think we've ever seen a guy like KD or LeBron in the past, and some favor them over greats in the past of the NBA.

One of these people was the fellow below, saying Kevin Durant was better than NBA Hall-of-Famer Larry Bird . . . in his prime:Of course, many thought the man was outright crazy. Some would say he does have a point. If KD saw this, he probably would have been humble about it but would be flattered. And actually, that kind of did happen. The funny part, though, is that Durant told this guy to calm down with his statement.

Take a look, as KD tells the dude to "chill":Hilarious.

What do you think of NBA players being compared to the past ones? Are they better? Is it even right to compare them?
