Michael Jordan may have said "the ceiling is the roof," but I feel like Lavar Ball is taking those words to heart when it comes to himself and his three sons. His latest outlandish statement is that he believes he would have beat the GOAT 1-on-1.

“Back in my heyday, I would kill Michael Jordan one-on-one,” said Ball.

“I would just back (Jordan) in and lift him off the ground and call a foul every time he fouls me when I do a jump hook to the right or the left. He cannot stop me one-on-one. He better make every shot ’cause he can’t go around me. He’s not fast enough. And he can only make so many shots outside before I make every bucket under the rim.”

Lavar is 6-foot-7, 270 pounds, but he only averaged 2 points per game in college. He played at Washington State before transferring to a Division-II school. Meanwhile, you got MJ playing at North Carolina and leading them to a championship. Also, he's the freaking GOAT at basketball.

Even at their current ages, I'd take MJ. In fact, I'd take current MJ over prime Lavar. Maybe his sons have a shot...
