Gregg Williams has been getting a lot of heat for the past month, but former New Orleans Saints linebacker Jo-Lonn Dunbar says that he's a great guy.
“Gregg’s a great guy,” he told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. “A really good person on the field, off the field.”
Dunbar played with the Saints from 2009-11. However, unlike players like Jonathan Vilma, Dunbar was not part of the bounty activities.
“I was a young cat,” Dunbar said. “I had nothing to do with that.”
Despite hearing this, it doesn't change what Williams has done. Forcing to injure players for money is not a good thing. Williams should just be banned forever coaching in the NFL.
As for Dunbar, he currently plays linebacker for the St. Louis Rams.
